Thanksgiving Dessert Ideas


1. PUMPKIN TIRAMISU LAYER CAKE

For this delicious cake, you'll have to prepare two separate dishes. One for the cake and the other for the syrup.

Start out with preheating oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Beat flour and sugars in a bowl until dough like texture while adding eggs one at a time to make sure it is properly mixed. Pour into sprayed pan and bake until center is clean which approximately takes 45 minutes or so.

2. TASTY PECAN TASSIES

Preheat oven to 360 degrees. Beat mascarpone and butter in a bowl on medium speed. Add flour, salt and nuts to mix all together. Divide dough into equal parts.

Whisk the egg, sugar, maple syrup with butter and salt until mixed. Stir in the pecans. Fill each premade cup with 1 1/2 teaspoons.

3. PUMPKIN FUDGE RECIPE

Combine the sugar and cream in a saucepan and bring to boil over heat. Add the pumpkin, butter honey, nutmeg, cloves, salt and vanilla extract. Remove from heat and let cool down. Whisk until it becomes fudge. Pour into a foil-lined into a pan. Rest for 2 hours before serving.

4. BAKLAVA WITH NUTELLA GAZE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grind nuts, spice, and sugar until size of a gravel. Melt butter over low heat. After done melting, make sure to pour over mesh strainer into a bowl to get rid of solid milk pieces. Spread butter in pan and lay one sheet of phyllo in bottom of dish. Brush with butter. Repeat process until you have as many phyllo sheets as desired. Remember to spread nut mixture between the phyllo sheets. Bake for 25 minutes and serve with syrup.

5. CREME BRULEE

Preheat oven at 325 degrees while boiling the mixture of cream, vanilla bean, and pulp into a medium saucepan. Let cool for 15 minutes when done. In a separate bowl mix egg yolks and half cup of sugar while adding the cream a little at a time. Pour into small ramekins and bake for 40-45 minutes.
